I love this book! Camille Rose Garcia is one of my favorite artists. I would highly recommend Everything That Creeps by Elizabeth McGrath.

Outstanding Art. Childish Politics.......2006-03-17

Nightmarish and beautiful. One of the most unique and hauntingly original artists of our time. Unfortunately the text that goes along with the art sounds like a stoned 16 year old punk talking about throwing a spanner into the "Republican War Machine". I will say that it made me laugh a little.

She needs no introduction if you have any knowledge of the low brow art seen. This book is worth every penny! A beautiful collection of Camille Rose Garcia's amazing paintings as well as sketches and little insights into what inspired these works. Included are selected works from her shows "The Happiest Place on Earth", "The Soft Machine", "Operation Opticon", "Ultra Violence" and more. Camille's style, expression and use of colour to create a strong sense of happy anxiety bliss are what make her a genius in my opinion. This book is very high quality and an excellent production from last gasps. I just bought it a few days ago and have already determined that I shall never part with it. It's that nice of a book!!!!

A Wonderful Starter Tool.......2004-02-27

This was my first ever book/kit in the area of cartooning. After a few weeks of study and practice I had already written and illustrated my first children's book! Some of the categories include: how to draw the cartoon head, how to draw the cartoon body, the cartoon animal, marrying expression to dialogue, advanced techniques, original comic strep jokes and character suggestions, draw your own comic strip sample grids, and animation, (plus many sub-categories) this book will keep you interested, busy, and will turn even the coldest of hearts soft for cartooning fun! I highly recommend this!

A great set for the beginning animator.......2000-08-20

This is a great book for a person who is starting out. It tells you the main ideas to get you started, and comes with all the materials you need to start out. This was the first animation book/set I bought, and I thought it was very useful.

For a few it reveals some details of their lives after the War. For one, the book lists a great many events during his entire lifetime. As a matter of course, "The Boys From Lake County" is also a relatively complete history of their 73rd Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment.

One of the best books I have ever read........1998-11-13

Not so great for its literary value but the fact that it is a true story. The author was so influential in the development of the RR/Bristol Pegasus, RB 211 and even the RR Merlin aero engines. This is how real engineering should be. Inspirational.

An excellent book on the history of the jet engine. Told from a different perspective by an individual who was there from the beginning.
