The picture captions include dates of production and pattern and etching numbers, plus original company colors. Full lines of dinnerware and their companion patterns are listed along with bedroom, bath, and decorating pieces, along with information gathered from original catalogs and reprints, glass club newsletters, company brochures, trade journals, company advertising, and from many dedicated dealers and collectors. One Of The Best References I Own.......2003-12-11
Being in the hobby of collecting glass as I am for over a decade, becomes alot more interesting when you have a fantastic book like this to refer to.
This book offers tremendous return for your dollar as far as what it gives you. Concisely written, easy to read, well planned and designed value guides on the same page with the pattern you are researching, are ideal. The number of pictures you get of any pattern is by far, more detailed than any other reference I have seen. The number of pieces made that are listed ALSO seem more complete. You will see a wide array of all the patterns in all the colors which is incredible as well. As much as I am a fan of Gene Florences' wonderful glassware references of which I have many, THIS beats his Elegant Glassware of The Depression Era. It just is more complete. It also shows patterns that he does not include.
If you collect, sell, have an interest in glassware or all of the above like me, you too, will want to add this volume to your glass reference library.

Book Description
This innovative book uncovers the consuming habits of urban men from the second half of the nineteenth century to the outbreak of the First World War. It focuses on the fraught relationships that emerged at this time between ideal models of manly behavior and attitudes towards the expression of sexual and class identities through the medium of dress. The period has been identified by many historians as a crucial moment in the development of a commodity culture, and its characteristics have generally been discussed in terms of a "feminization" of practices linked with shopping and fashionable display. In a challenge to the accepted picture, Christopher Breward tracks previously hidden connections between the formation of popular sartorial models for male consumers, the organization of associated retail industries and the promotion of new leisure activities.

From a Costumers Point of View.......2001-11-17
The title of this book doesn't misrepresent itself.
It really is about consumerism. Unfortunately I hoped the
"Masculinities, fashion and city life 1860-1914" part of the title would discuss in more detail what was actually worn.
There is very little of that at all. This would be a great book for someone who is studing commerce, but not much use to a costumer. In fact, there aren't even many illustrations.
Customer Reviews:
The book could be better, but it's currently the best!.......2005-04-29
THe book needs more solved questions, math and law solutions.

Book Description
Movies and books have romanticized the life of the cowboy. To most, the heroes of countless Westerns fall into one of three categories: the strong, silent, asexual deliverer of damsels in distress; the slick and gaudy guitar-strummer; and the virile, violent drifter. In truth, real cowboys had little in common with the fictionalized characters of literature and the silver screen. The "reel" cowboys of yesteryear are recalled in Part One of this work. The make-believe West of Gene Autry, Buck Jones, Harry Carey, and many others is contrasted with the real American West. Part Two discusses the many movies based on the writings of Western writers. The works of Zane Grey, Louis L'Amour, Max Brand, Luke Short, Ernest Haycox and many others have been transformed to the silver screen, often with great success. Next examined are the movies based upon three writers of the great Northwest: James Oliver Curwood, Jack London and Rex Beach. A concluding section looks at cinema cowboys on the so-called "sawdust trail." Will Rogers, Tom Mix, Jack Hoxie were among those reel cowboys who performed in circuses and Wild West shows.
Book Description
Lou Reed has been art-rocker, iconoclast, contrary noise merchant, and junkie, yet he's always been fascinating. Only David Bowie, arguably, has re-invented himself as many times as Reed, while ensuring that each image was potent, edgy and dangerous. It's a tribute to Reed's standing that even punk rockers, with their scorched earth policy towards all pre-punk music, had a healthy respect and regard for him. Velvet Underground is one of the all-time greats; but in many people's eyes, Reed has produced his best work solo, after the demise of that band. This groundbreaking book analyzes and celebrates the willful intellect, fierce intelligence, and literary merits of Lou Reed's post-Velvet Underground music. Chris Roberts has written about music for fifteen years for The Guardian, Melody Maker, Sounds, and Uncut. He was also the editor of Idol Worship (Harper Collins), a collection of writings by pop stars (Bono, Thurston Moore, etc.) that has been hailed in some quarters as "The best book about rock 'n' roll ever."

an okay thing.......2005-08-26
this is a decent book i guess. the only reason to buy it is to see some rare lou reed pictures. the author's writing is cliched and boring. he sucks up to lou reed so badly that it's embarassing.

Book Description
Typical family of the World War II era, depicted by 9 dolls with 37 accurately rendered costumes and accessories: straight-line suits, elegant dresses for the women, military uniforms, tuxedo, 3-piece business suit for the men, "Rosie the Riveter" suit for a defense worker, teenager's "zoot suit," much more.

Colorful Visual Reference.......2007-08-23
I purchased several of Tom Tierney's historical paper doll sets to augment my family history projects. I have 150 years of family photos which are mostly in black and white, of course, so it's great to see the period clothing in detail and in color. The paper dolls will add so much to my research and my family's appreciation of the historical times and stories. Although I intend to keep the paper dolls uncut, they are printed on card stock which would be easy to cut and not tear apart if well-cared for.

I am eleven and I really liked this book. I was recently at a used book sale and bought "American Family of the Civil War Era". I liked it, so I bought "American Family of the 1930s" and "American Family of the 1940s". The people of 1930 come permanently in swimsuits which my mom prefers over underwear. The only bad thing about this book is that you have to cut them out (they are not punched). They are worth it, though. If you are wondering which to buy I would tell you "American Family of the 1940s". That's my personal favorite because the three teenagers have such cool clothes.
Fun with Fashion.......2006-10-18
I highly enjoyed this paper doll book. It's a great way to learn about fashion and history, in a fun and easy setting. I recommend this to anyone who would like a little taste of what people wore in the 40s.

Administrative Assistant's and Secretary's Handbook (Second Edition).......2007-06-24
This book is spectacular. It is up to date on everything. It defined exactly what my role will be in a job, the methods of being a savvy assistant and the explanations of duties is detailed and easy to follow. I have vowed to have this book in my desk at every assignment I work at.
It's like the Administrative Assistant's Bible!
Administrative Assistant & Secretary Handbook.......2007-05-28
Overall not bad. I ordered the book because I discovered general clerical tasks such as envelope & letter formats, answering phones, taking messages were not common knowledge to highschool graduates. This book gave our receptionist who had no office/clerical training good guidlines to follow. The computer section is outdated.
Administrative Assistant's and Secretary's Handbook.......2007-01-09
We (group of secretary's)work in a school and let me tell you that this book has helped us to understand the importance of an assistant. How we are the leading role of our bosses, we need to be well informed about everything around us and our bosses so that business can run smoothly and not look bad when someone ask something and not have the correct answer. The book has become our inseparable partner, it helps us in everything we do.

Nobody can match George Plimpton as an adroit weaver of interviews into a tight narrative fabric. Plimpton can make even a negligible life into a magic-carpet ride, as in his editing of Jean Stein's perennial bestseller, Edie, about Andy Warhol's victim-starlet Edie Sedgwick.
In Truman Capote, Plimpton has an infinitely more important subject, who worked his way down from the top into the shallow pit of druggy celebrity. His book doesn't knock the definitive biography Capote off the shelf, but it's much more fun to read. Plimpton interviewed more than a hundred people--from Capote's childhood to his peak period, 1966, when his Black and White Ball defined high society and In Cold Blood launched the true crime genre, all the way down to his last, sad days as a bitchy caricature of himself. Joanna Carson complains that Plimpton's book is "gossip," which it gloriously is. But it's also brimming with important literary history, and it helps in the Herculean task of sorting out the truth from Capote's multitudinous, entertaining lies; for instance, In Cold Blood turns out to be not strictly factual. James Dickey, whose similar self-destruction is chronicled in Summer of Deliverance, delivers here a good definition of Capote's true gift to literature: "The scene stirring with rightness and strangeness, the compressed phrase, the exact yet imaginative word, the devastating metaphorical aptness, a feeling of concentrated excess which at the same time gives the effect of being crystalline." --Tim Appelo
Book Description
He was the most social of writers, and at the height of his career, he was the very nexus of the glamorous worlds of the arts, politics and society, a position best exemplified by his still legendary Black and White Ball. Truman truly knew everyone, and now the people who knew him best tell his remarkable story to bestselling author and literary lion, George Plimpton.
Using the oral-biography style that made his Edie (edited with Jean Stein) a bestseller, George Plimpton has blended the voices of Capote's friends, lovers, and colleagues into a captivating and narrative. Here we see the entire span of Capote's life, from his Southern childhood, to his early days in New York; his first literary success with the publication of Other Voices, Other Rooms; his highly active love life; the groundbreaking excitement of In Cold Blood, the first "nonfiction novel"; his years as a jet-setter; and his final days of flagging inspiration, alcoholism, and isolation. All his famous friends and enemies are here: C.Z. Guest, Katharine Graham, Lauren Bacall, Gore Vidal, Norman Mailer, Joan Didion, John Huston, William F. Buckley, Jr., and dozens of others.
Full of wonderful stories, startlingly intimate and altogether fascinating, this is the most entertaining account of Truman Capote's life yet, as only the incomparable George Plimpton could have done it.
Customer Reviews:
A fictional biography of Capote.......2007-07-16
As a fan of Plimpton's witty style, I picked up the Capote biography, only to realize that Plimpton didn't write it. Instead, he interviewed dozens of people and let them tell Capote's life story. At first, I was mildly disappointed but soon understood the irony: Capote was infamous for his gossipping, and now these acquaintances are gossipping about him. In the same way that Capote created a "nonfiction novel" with In Cold Blood, Plimpton compiled a "subjective biography" that focuses on Capote's public persona more than his private life. (Perhaps because much of his private life was public.) The interviews are colored by the subjects' relationships with Capote, and many of them have an agenda in talking about him, so I would not recommend the book to someone who wants to read a factual chronicle. However, it is entertaining and gives a portrait of the New York high society--in which authors had a place, unlike today (I think)--probably better than a standard biography could provide.
Inimitable Plimpton.......2006-11-05
Full of salacious detail and struck through with the the vagaries of human nature, this oral history highlights, in an immensely readable way, the arc of ambition that propels the talented Tuman Capote to reach beyond the world into which he was born. The journey takes us on a wonderful romp through post WWII New York society and careens toward a place where our subject falls to his own singular sirens. It was a great Nantucket beach read.
A Capote Reader.......2006-06-26
I really liked this book. I am a Truman Capote fan, and the book was wonderful. A must read for Capote fans especially!
TRUMAN.......2006-04-10
Honestly, Capote would have loved this book, he loved the subject above all others. Ths late Plimpton does a fine job getting many of Capote's friends and admirors, as well as detractors, to give an insightful look at this singular man. Capote was complex and manipulative, but people were drawn to him, he was the ultimate self promoter. I really think even those who hated him, missed him when he died. He could be heartless and cruel, but he had a certain quality, I guess it's called star power, that made him a very powerful friend to have, he rode the success of In Cold Blood and Breakfast at Tiffanys to the apex of society. He was painfully insecure and it's sad that he felt people were only his friend because of his ability to write great books, it's tragic that late in life he felt the need to make up the fact that he was writing this masterpiece, I think he was terrified of writing the book that would follow In Cold Blood, that I believe is what lead him to write the ill advised Unaswered Prayers. You will really want to avert your eyes when the vail is pulled away on Capote.
A great look at Capote.......2006-04-09
This book is one of the best biographies I have read. Quoting from people who knew him instead of having the author interpret Capote's life from the interview smakes the reader feel as if he is getting to really see what Capote was like. It also gives the reader a glimps of the society that Capote was raised and lived in.
Customer Reviews:
By Far the Best Account of the North Carolina Finale.......2006-08-14
Of several accounts I have read about this March 1865 battle, this is definitely the most complete study of the battle to date. Finally a battle narrative with enough detailed maps to follow the action. Unlike many battle studies that toss in a map every hundred pages, Mark L. Bradley includes military movement or troop disposition maps anytime there is a significant movement of troops. At times there are maps every other page.
Bentonville was, in many ways, the Confederacy's "Battle of the Bulge." Southern General Joseph E. Johnston was reinstated to command of scattered Confederate forces in the Carolinas during the last months of the Civil War. That he was able to weld together an army at this late stage is a miracle in itself. Fully realizing that there was no way to stop the inevitable, Johnston and his generals snapped back at Sherman's advancing columns to buy time for the Confederacy.
The Bentonville Battle is not one of the more familiar accounts from the War Between the States. Indeed, many sources summarize or bypass the battle as if it were a mere skirmish. In my case, I knew little more about the battle other than there were one or two highway signs on Interstate 95 for the exit to reach this battlefield. In 1986, while spending several weeks at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, I used one of my free weekends to visit the site. At the time, a majority of the battlefield was located on various private properties. After a trip to the visitor center and some blatant historical trespass through a cornfield or two, I realized that this battle was much bigger than I realized. At the time, the only book available on the subject from Fayetteville's Cross Creek Mall bookstore was a volume titled SHERMAN'S MARCH THROUGH THE CAROLINAS. Fortunately a good portion of SHERMAN'S MARCH was devoted to Bentonville.
At the time, my only regret (one that has been repeated at other historic sites) was that I read the book after I visited the battlefield and then moved on to another military assignment in a different state.
As fate would have it, fifteen years later I found that I would be back in the neighborhood of Bentonville and began ordering additional books on the subject. Mark L. Bradley's book was one of them. I only wish that his book had been available way back in 1986. The book has a lot of detail, yet it is enjoyable to read. The volume is so meticulously researched that a full 150 pages are devoted to tables of organization, endnotes and indexing.
On the other hand, this is not a book to attempt to read the night before you plan to visit Bentonville. The four hundred plus pages and maps will keep you busy a couple days before you reach the last page. If you are looking for an overview of the battle, this is not the book for you.
However, if you thirst for the detailed events leading up to and including the Bentonville Battle, I recommend you add this book to your collection.
An Awesome Book on a Little-known Battle.......2004-03-27
I must admit, before I read this book, all I knew about the Battle of Bentonville was that it was fought in North Carolina by Joseph E. Johnston and William T. Sherman. But this great book has opened my eyes on a little-known campaign and filled an empty hole on my book shelf.
Bradley's accounts of the battles at Monroe's Crossroads, Averasboro, and Bentonville are priceless. His writing is quick-paced, yet easy to follow. Another great part of this book are the maps, which are some of the best I have ever had the pleasure to see. Lastly, Appendix A of the book, which contains pictures of the battlefields (Averasboro and Bentonville) today, with captions. I recommend purchasing this book with Mark Moore's guide to the battlefield, which I did.
It is my opinion that no Civil War buff's library is cpmplete without this book. Get it!
Excellent Study on a Forgotten Battle!.......2003-03-12
Bradley's book on the last major (and often overlooked) battle in the Civil War is a gem. Although, I am somewhat biased since I am a North Carolinian, the book has an engaging writing style and is full of superb maps.
Some Civil War books I have read were difficult to follow due to either/or the lack of maps or quality of maps depicting troop movements and the theater of operations. Not so with this title! The maps are numerous and easily clarify troop movements and the flow of battle.
Bradley also does an excellent job of describing the little known battles of Averasboro (General Hardee did a commendable job of delaying Sherman's advance) and Monroe's Crossroads (Kilpatrick was almost captured and his force ambushed).
The next time I visit the battlefields I will certainly have Bradley's book with me to serve as the ultimate guide. Bradley's writing style is technical in describing troop movements and engaging in supplying ample anecdotes on the campaign's participants. Overall, a nice balance of not being too technical (and dry) and not too basic.
The book will always be special to me since I spent my early years in Eastern North Carolina close to the battlefields. Visiting these battlefields as a little boy sparked a life-long interest in the Civil War.
Bravo, excellent job! May more such studies be written on other battles!
Yet Another CW Clone.......2002-03-17
Maybe I've read too many of these histories now but it just seems that these guys are using the same book of phrases to get to the required number of pages. It's boring. So many sound the same that if you took the author's name off the cover of a dozen books I bet most of us couldn't match them up with their works. Mr Bearss may find it a "barnburner" but I had trouble finishing it.
The Definitive Book on the Campaign of the Carolinas.......2000-11-06
Finally the Battle of bentonville and the Campaign of the Carolinas gets the attention it deserves. Bradley has found that outstanding mix of personal ancedotes and move by move documentation of the Battle of Bentonville. Bradley takes the reader from the last organized skirmish against Sherman's army in South Carolina(Cheraw) to the climatic battle at Bentonville. In between Bradley also talks in detail of the battle of Averasboro and Monroe's Crossroads.
But the finest aspect of the book is its almost minute by minute depiction of the Battle of Bentonville. For those who do not know, Bentonville was literally the last gasp of the Confederacy to stop Major General William T. Sherman's march through the Carolinas. For nearly a day, a rag tag, mottled army of Confederates from every corner of the Confederacy had the previously unchallenged army of Sherman "on the ropes". However as the book describes so vividly, the stand of a few Federal divisions and reinforcements saves the day for the Federals. In between the vivid descriptions of the fighting, Bradley masterfully throws in personal recollections and human interest stories that are unmatched by any books on the Campaign. You will literally feel like you are rising and falling in emotion with those Johnny's and Yanks on the pages in front of you.You will literally feel like the Rebel Yell is screaming in your ears and imagine the crackle of musketry. An outstanding photo section shows the battlefield from many views and a good sized assortment of photo's of the participants. Also most importantly, the book is devoid of prejudice for either side. You will be hardpressed to find a more objective piece.. even for a subject that brings out as much emotion as Sherman's march.
Most people have read virtually nothing on the Campaign of the Carolinas. If you only read one book on this campaign... READ THIS ONE. You will not be disappointed.

While numerous books have been written criticizing the policies and practices of the George W. Bush administration, few have been as foreboding about the meaning of those policies and practices as Mark Crispin Miller's Cruel and Unusual. In Bush and company, Miller sees a regime comparable to the most ruthless authoritarian dictatorships of the modern era and warns that Americans, skillfully duped by a corrupt government and a complicit mass media, are blithely accepting the curtailing of their liberties and the eradication of their democracy. The attacks of September 11, 2001 and the tremendous fear and insecurity they generated among the American people provided, in Miller's estimation, ample opportunity for Bush and company to move the country to a place where dissent is crushed by force, wars are started on lies, and democratic elections will soon be a thing of the past. Cruel and Unusual makes a compelling case by providing massive amounts of evidence, some concrete and some speculative, although at times the sprawling range of his subject matter harms Miller's attempts to form a cohesive argument. And for someone writing a book about George W. Bush, Miller is awfully preoccupied with the treatment President Bill Clinton received from the press and right-wing activists. Particularly strong, however, are passages related to the build-up to war in Iraq and the discrediting of weapons inspector Scott Ritter, who insisted that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. Miller provides transcripts from cable news talk shows where administration spokesman attack Ritter with the apparent assistance of like-minded hosts while Ritter himself doggedly defends himself and persistently rejects the main reason given for war. Cruel and Unusual is one of the most energetic and dire criticisms of the Bush administration but its urgency is matched by the crimes it sees being committed. --John Moe
Book Description
A mordant and passionate exposé of the right-wing threat to American democracy and freedom.
Read a newspaper or catch the news on television, and you might get the impression that America's current leadership is "mainstream": perhaps a bit more conservative and in its foreign policy more belligerent than its predecessors, but still a federal authority that functions within America's political traditions.
But as Mark Crispin Miller argues here with great clarity and effect, we are in fact living in a state that would appall the Founding Fathers: a state that is neither democratic nor republican, and no more "conservative" than it is liberal. He exposes the Bush Republicans' contempt for democratic practice, their bullying religiosity, their reckless militarism, their apocalyptic views of the economy and the planet, andabove alltheir emotional dependence on sheer hatefulness.
Abraham Lincoln once observed that, if the United States should ever be subverted, "it will be conquered from within." And that is exactly what has happened.
Customer Reviews:
Had enough, America ? .... read his enlightening book........2007-03-13
Simply a great book. I have read so many books about Bush, the Republicans, and the Iraq War that I am thoroughly disgusted with our current national leadership. This book actually put my mind at ease because after reading it I realized that Bush and the conservatives are just liars, hypocrites, and criminals ..... and will ultimatley self-destruct. In fact America is finally seeing Bush for who he really is. His legacy will drag the Republican neo-con movement down for years to come.
Mark Crispin Miller explains how Bush and Cheney are transmogrifying America into a Fascist State!!!! .......2006-09-24
This was an excellent read. Miller brings to light the Bush Neo-Con's Machiavellian agenda, and how this agenda has become the proverbial ambsace that is rotting the inner core of America. In chapter one of the book Miller points out Jeffersonian idealism and the U.S. Constitution. In the early days when our country was young and vivacious, citizens were accustom to the laws. They knew their rights because people participated in the process. But in the modern age of Television, shopping, and entertainment, peoples' languishing approach to academia has become a copious problem/weakness, and the Neo-Cons are playing this weakness to the utmost. In the book Miller elaborates, " The Constitution is unknown in the United States, and not just by the folks at home who read 'People' and 'Parade' and watch TV, but also-or, perhaps, especially-by the privileged ones who write for 'People' and 'Parade' and make the TV shows, the news included." In other words, American citizens are unfamiliar with Constitutional laws and provisions, and this unfamiliarity is Bush's weapon of choice.
The book also sights the Project for the New American Century's Rebuilding America's Defense doctrine, which states as follows: "to maintain American military preeminence, to secure America geopolitical leadership, and to preserve the American peace." This quote is really a euphemism for U.S. hegemony, unilateralism and contumacy since the Bush Administration has rescinded the Geneva Conventions, and is trying to rewrite the War Crimes Act of 1996, plus he's managed to render the Bill of rights meaningless and has replaced it with the U.S.A. Patriot Act, which represents the aposematic rise of fascism.
Mark Crispin Miller is a heavy-duty writer who covers many issues such as, the media, nuclear weapons proliferation, the war in Iraq , and Bush's nefarious dealings behind closed doors.
If you are an avid reader of Noam Chomsky or Gore Vidal give this a try. But be mindful that Miller's opinions lean in favor of the Democratic party.
A Devestating Critique.......2006-09-19
Miller does it again. Only better. Filled with copious sourcing and research, he presents an irrefutable critique of the current administration. Well, let's be honest. If you are a right-wing Republican, you won't agree with what he says, and there's really no reason to read the book. It'll just make you angry. Every one else- read it. It is shocking how often this administration has flouted the law and grinned while doing it. Unlike Miller's previous work, Bush Dyslexicon, this is short on humor. While Dyslexicon attempted to use humor to make a serious point, Cruel and Unusual simply hammers home the horrific nature of the world we live in. I look forward to 2008, but with a certain sence of dread. Will he subvert the contstitution again, and somehow circumvent 22nd Ammendment, claiming exigencies because we are at "war"?
I'd love to give this book a full rating. It's a must-read. It could change your understanding of the modern world under Pax Americana (a Bush quote). But that final chapter- a bit too much. There Miller posits a shadowy group, the Christian Reconstructionists, and aligns the administration with them. I have no doubt they exist and they pursue a rather evil agenda- I have no reason to doubt Miller's research on these points. Rather, he uses similar viewpoints espoused by Bush & Company that are similar to those of the Reconstructionists to demonstrate the proposed link. However, much as I disagree with most of the viewpoints, most of them are simply conservative beliefs- and some of them rather simply Christian beliefs. Miller's arguments get bogged down in his final chapter. Read the book for the rest of it.
Very good indictment of a criminal regime!.......2006-08-08
Skull and Bones Bush and his cronies
take note. We know who are and are
watching. This book is not correct
on everything but the author does a
real complete job of taking this
criminal administration and the
New World Order on. Bravo, author!
Alarming Wakeup Call.......2006-02-14
This book convincingly explains the basis of the current culture/religious war in America. The author's chilling analysis fits the facts, including the far-right's irrational demonization of and persecution of Bill and Hillary Clinton, their virulent hate-based propaganda that dominates the U.S. media, their arrogant disregard for international law and contempt for the United Nations, the deliberate erosion of our civil rights via the deceptively named "Patriot Act", the secret wiretapping of U.S. citizens without adequate safeguards, the many blatant lies told to the American public including the basis for the war in Iraq, the vicious retaliatory outing of CIA employee Valerie Plame (an illegal leak of classified information that potentially threatens national security), etc., etc., etc. The long list of unethical actions is chilling, and their success at getting away with it (with the complicity of the U.S. media) is terrifying. And now they have stacked our Supreme Court with like-minded fanatics.
The bottom line: the Bush administration and other far-right zealots are carrying out a well organized attack on our beloved American democracy. They are actively working to dismantle our cherished freedoms and values and replace them with a radical conservative Christian theocracy under Biblical law. Yikes!!!
I love our American democracy and cherish the lofty ideals on which our government and society are based. I feel horrified that our beloved country is seriously threatened from within. We cannot allow a militant, mean-spirited minority to destroy our way of life. Please help spread the word!

Equal time to other cavity nesting birds!.......2007-04-05
I was very happy with the general information and the wide variety of birds talked about in the book. Most books about building nestboxes start with bluebirds and add tidbits about other birds nesting needs. This book is the missing piece for anyone who doesn't live near bluebirds or who hopes to learn about attracting others as well. I've looked and it isn't as easy as you'd think, even on the internet to find details about birds other than the blues. Great book.
