This book is an easy read but if you are looking for some in depth information you should pass on this one. The author does a good job of presenting the information in a format that is simple for the reader and is a good resource for the novice in oil and gas accounting and finance. Intermediate to advanced personnel should try for something with more practical methods than presented here.

For the beginner it is a very good book.

This is the first book that attempts to study the origin of cooperatvity in binding systems from the molecular point of view. The molecular approach provides a deeper insight into the mechanism of cooperativity and regulation, than the traditional phenomenological approach.
This book uses the tools of statistical mechanics to present the molecular theory of cooperativity. Cooperativity is used in a variety of processes-such as loading and unloading of oxygen at relatively small pressure differences; maintaining an almost constant concentration of various compounds in living cells; and switching on and off the reading of genetic information.
This book may be used as a textbook by graduate students in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biophysics, and will also be of interest to researchers in theoretical biochemistry.

This book is a new translation of Parzival, together with the fragments of the Titurel, an elegiac offshoot of Parzival, and the nine love-songs attributed to Wolfram. Parzival is the greatest of the medieval Grail romances. In its depth and complexity of characterisation this work of the early thirteenth century anticipates the modern novel. It encompasses deeds of chivalry, tournaments and sieges, courtly love, and other erotic undertakings, but also sin and penance, and a deeply moving study in depression. All is underpinned by the narrator's irrepressible humour. The central stages are the Grail Castle and Arthur's Round Table, but the pagan world of the Orient also plays its role. Parzival has inspired and influenced works as diverse as Wagner's Parsifal and Lohengrin, Franz Kafka's The Castle, Terry Gilliam's film The Fisher King, and Umberto Eco's Baudolino. CYRIL EDWARDS is a Lecturer in German at St. Peter's College and Research Fellow of the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages of the University of Oxford. He is the author of The Beginnings of German Literature (Camden House, 2002), and numerous articles on the medieval lyric and Old High German. His previous translations include Hans Sachs's Song of the Nose for the King's Singers, Bernhard Maier's Dictionary of Celtic Religion and Culture (Boydell & Brewer, 1997) and The Medieval Housebook (Prestel-Verlag, 1997).

Do not be discouraged by the fact that this work is the author's first book. It is an excellent work with the content being ratified by some of the world's leading experts.

Aimed at any ordinary member of the public who is concerned about the need for protecting and conserving Coral Reefs, William Gray hits his mark spot on. The book is skilfully divided into 6 main chapters which allow the author to carefully build on what has been written so far as he brings the level of knowledge of the reader slowly forward.

Beautifully illustrated throughout with outstanding photographs and excellent graphics, I learned a lot from this book. It is the one book every scuba diver and concerned person should read on this topic.
