There are 2 versions of the Nancy Drew mysteries!.......2002-04-30
About 1959 these stories were edited and re-published and some of the language was edited out or removed. Recently Applewood Books has re-released the old Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries with the original language. In the new versions Nancy was increased in age from 16 to 18 because it was not thought to be a good idea to have a 16 year-old girl riding around River Heights in her own blue roadster. The original versions refer to black people as Negro or colored and the role of women and minorities is very different from what it is now. In "The Secret of the Old Clock" there is one black person who is the only one in the whole book who talks in slang such as "Sho' 'nuff Miss Nancy." Everyone else in the book is white and is portrayed as talking in correctly spelled English. However I enjoy the original versions more than the cleaned up ones and it gives me a picture of what life was like before World War II in my mother's and father's time. Look for these versions in the Original Nancy Drew series from Applewood Books.
Read this if you like mystery books.......2002-03-11
The book that I read was Nancy Drew and The Secret of the Old Clock. I think that you should read this book if you like exciting mysteries. Here is a summary about the book. The Secret of the Old Clock is about a girl named Nancy Drew. She loved to solve mysteries. Her father Carson Drew was one of the best lawyers. There was a man that was named Josiah Crowley. He mde a will that was the first will but everyone believed that there was another will. He had a lot of people that he promised money to. That's why everybody thought that there was another will. Nancy Drew thoguht that if anybody had it, it would be the Tomphams but they didn't. The Tophams are the oeople who asked Crowley to stay with them thinking that all of his things to them. Nancy met a lot of people on the way. Nancy met the Turner sisters that told her who to talk to. She talked to some of this cousins, and the Hoover sisters. She also talked to Abby Rowen. She told Nancy a lot of information. Then, Nancy went to find the notebook. Abby Rowen said "old clock" and then her memory went blank. Then Nancy went to the Tophams to ask about the clock. They told her that it was at their bungalow house. When she went there, there was no furniture in the house. Then she heard voices and foot steps coming up to the house and hid in the closet. After a short period of time she sneezed and the men opened the door. Then they closed the door and locked her in the closet. She started to yell... I hope that this summary makes you want to read this book!
Excellent.......2001-10-23
I enjoy mysteries so i thought i might give these books a try. I always thought they looked dumb and so i never picked one up, but they are really good. I would recomened it to anyone and everyone.
Nancy Drew is the best!.......2000-07-30
I myself read the starter set for Nancy Drew and I found it very exciting and good. It kept me reading and reading. I could not stop! Nancy Drew books are interesting and make you wonder what is going to happen next. When I first read my very 1st Nancy Drew book, I thought it was boring. Until I started to get really into the book. Now I am on the 9th book. Well, going to read the 9th book. I would recommend this to all children 10-12 years old. It is a excellent book and a great book that will make you keep on reading. Until you read them all!
YOU HAVE GOT TO LOVE THEM!.......1999-11-08
You have got to love all of the Nancy Drew books! I know I do. I own them all. If you haven't ever read one try it and then look me in the eyes and tell me that you didn't like the book. I bet you can't!

Book Description
Inspired by the experience of some advanced economies, a number of emerging market economies have recently adopted rules limiting the budget deficit, expenditure level, or indebtedness of the public sector, while others consider them for eventual adoption. This volume brings together policy analysts to discuss the rationale, suitability, and usefulness of fiscal policy rules in emerging market economies. Grouped under three main parts (political economy and macroeconomic setting; design issues at the national level; design issues at the subnational level), the chapters have a practical orientation, based on conceptual grounding.

FROM THE HEART OF SOUTHERN CULTURE.......2001-09-05
From the heart of Southern Culture, namely, the Mississippi Delta, I am a collector of books on humor in the South. This book is alright if you are not familiar with any funny customs of the south. It is for the most part a repeat of humor in books already printed. If you have read any Jeff Foxworthy books, this book will be a repeat of a lot of his humor. If you are not familiar with Foxworthy books, then I suggest you buy it, as it is quickly read and you will get a taste of our culture.

Book Description
Confused by today's music business? Did you ever wish that that some super-knowledgeable music attorney would sit you down and explain the whole thing to you? Well, that's what this book is all about. Get It in Writing is actually three books in one: 1) An overview of the entire music business and the players involved; 2) Interviews with top industry professionals; and 3) A huge collection of sample agreements with extensive commentary from the author. This indispensible book covers: recording contracts, demo deals, copyrights and trademarks, music publishing, performance rights, motion pictures and TV, artist management, producers, band partnerships, and plenty more. All of this info coupled with expert insider advice makes this book every musician's best tool for success in the music business.
Customer Reviews:
Excellent.......2006-05-20
Having trouble with understanding the contracts that are required for successful entry into the music industry? In a tight spot with those late contracts? Don't worry this guide is here to help you, with real life examples and an extensive collection of templates for business contracts, each explained in the tiniest of detail. don't miss this 2-in-one book, a title that combines clear examples, good theory and an easy structure into a mega bundle that will help you sleep without worries at night
Great book of legal facts about the music industry........2006-05-16
If you're struggling to understand certain aspects of the music industry's legal side, I suggest this book. Not only does it explain everything in a simple way, it also provides sample contracts. If you're looking for more than just an explanation and you want a large array of sample contracts to choose from, look for "101 Music Business Contracts" from platinum millenium.
A must-read!.......2005-09-19
Coming from a record label's perspective, this book is absolutely a must-read for anyone in a band, whether a beginner or a seasoned veteran. I like how the contracts are picked apart and rewritten in layman's terms; it clearly explains what a band is in for. I recommend it to any band we work with BEFORE we give them a contract!
The author is concise, articulate, yet completely unassuming and, dare I say amusing, while driving home the reality of the industry. I cannot thank him enough! I just wish more bands would read this work before filling their heads with unrealistic expectations! It would save a lot of problems down the road.
Fantastic Resource.......2000-04-26
A great place for anyone to research the music industry. The book has clear, clever and concise interviews with heavy hitters and good sample contracts. A must for anyone starting out in music.
Facts Without Fluff.......2000-02-17
Clear, comprehensive, practical, helpful, and pretty darn funny, this book lays out in detail the ins-and-outs of the music business. It's got sample contracts, interviews with pros, and solid advice throughout. If you're in a band, a songwriter, or want to get into management, you should have this book tattooed to your brain before you sign something that turns your music career into nothing more than disaster fodder for VH1.

When John Leonard says he's going to "use a nifty novel, Philip Kerr's A Philosophical Investigation, as an excuse to talk about everything else under the fascistic sun," he means it, as a review of a futuristic thriller turns into a grand tour of modern culture, with stops to look at (among other things) the history of serial killers, Weimar Germany, E.O. Wilson's theories of sociobiology, the life of Ludwig Wittgenstein, the roots of psychoanalysis, a 4th-century woman mathematician, and Copenhagen's paltry commemoration of Soren Kierkegaard. In these essays, gathered from various publications (mostly The Nation), Leonard takes on everything from Toni Morrison to the X-Files movie in freewheeling, energetic style. Reading cultural criticism hasn't been this much fun since Lester Bangs was on the scene. When the Kissing Had to Stop is probably best suited for periodic dipping rather than a straight-through reading, because it is possible to overdose on the massive amounts of cultural literacy crammed into Leonard's prose. But who could resist the rough charms of a man who notes, in the middle of reviewing Bret Easton Ellis, "I read this stuff so you don't have to"? --Ron Hogan
Book Description
One of our most sophisticated commentators looks at contemporary literature and pop culture. Leading literary critic John Leonard is a master at decoding the fears and longings that animate our popular culture. When the Kissing Had to Stop is Leonard at his best, with his reflections on the best new literature of today and what it can tell us about America now. The conspiracies and fears fostered by the Cold War continue to poison our national psyche. New enemies, real or imagined, have fostered subcultures of fantasy and paranoia, and vertiginous proclamations of doom and transformation. In this brilliant new book, Leonard shows how our great novelists and essayists can help us to find some sense and sanity amid the dull roar of tabloids, talk shows, and the Disneyfication of everything.
Writers discussed include:
Don DeLillo
Joan Didion
Eduardo Galeano
Doris Lessing
Gabriel Grcia Marquez
Toni Morrison
Thomas Pynchon
Edward Said
Customer Reviews:
Genius.......2000-12-29
It's not a word I use lightly, but there's no better way to describe John Leonard than to say he's a genius. He certainly won't appeal to everyone's taste, but if you like essays written by a man whose mind ranges over the whole course of human history and knowledge, and who isn't afraid to bring all that knowledge together in a single sentence, then here's the guy for you. Not only is he a genius, but he's also terribly witty, and you don't get that from a lot of geniuses.
But you won't like Leonard if all you want from an essay about a book is an answer to the question, "Should I read it?" or if you are a fan of such folks as Newt Gingrich, Ronald Reagan, or Attila the Hun. (But don't think Leonard's leftism is knee-jerk; there's a wonderful essay in here about smoking, in which he confesses, "I stick burning leaves in my foodhole," and goes on to explore his life as a social pariah among all of his purer-than-thou lefty friends.)
Every page herein is suffused with a stunning literacy, and Leonard drops titles the way most of us shed skin. I would love to spy on him for a day, because I don't know how he has crammed so much knowledge into himself. He writes brilliantly about the whole history of cyberpunk, then goes on to fine surveys of African literature, Israeli literature, and everything that ever hit a page in the USA. But Leonard knows more than books, for he seems to have seen at least one episode of every television show ever created and made it to all of the major movies of the past fifty years or so. He's got a good grasp of American political history, and he seems to have some sort of social life. He's even got time for AA meetings.
I don't know how he does it, but thank whatever deity you can imagine for him. He's a wizard with words, an encyclopedia of everything, but more than that he's got vision, scruples, morality. And he wants to find the same in other people. He writes, "I like to be reminded that once there were writers for whom the convulsions of our time were a revelation, an insult or a wound, instead of a thesis topic cross-linked in a Nexis search to syndicate a rant."
Sure, Leonard's references sometimes cross themselves into a feedback loop, and he's got a love of paragraph-long lists, and he has a tendency to recycle himself from previous books and articles (having read all of Leonard's collections of essays over the years, I've heard that satire means "never having to say you're sorry", as does arch-conservatism, while standard liberalism means "always having to say you're sorry", but the phrase is so great I don't mind Leonard's apparent determination to keep it in perpetual print). His indulgences and habits are a part of his charm, and I wouldn't want him to lose any of it. There is not and has never been a critic like John Leonard -- perhaps there has never even been any sort of writer like him. But I haven't read quite enough to speak authoritatively on every writer who ever lived; Leonard has, though, so I'll defer to him.
incoherent nonsense.......1999-09-15
I agree 100% with the reader who writes that Leonard's prose is borderline incoherent. Borderline is too nice! It's vulgar mania dressed up to look like a real literary style. What rubbish! I'm less offended by Leonard's tiresome, slack, unexercised, undemanding leftism (though anyone who can call Giuliani's reign in New York "Mussolini meantime", as Leonard does in his Grace Paly piece, is not only being morally offesnive, but shows that he simply doesan't respect the weight and actual meaning of words: in itself, a disqualification for a man who poses as a critic.) No, it's not the politics so much that offends me as the vulgar literary sensibility, whipping itself up into hysterias, so that readers are fooled into thinking that here is a journalistic Thomas Pynchon. The prose is truly crass, tin-eared, clumsy, and exhibitionist. What this man thinks of a "poetry" is just the kind of foolish, bumbling-but-apparently-flashy language that rock stars put on the backs of records, and that rock journalists use in publications like NME. God help us that this man has set himself up as a critic. (But then, this is someone who thinks that Barbara Kingsolver is "our very own Gordimer or Lessing": q.e.d., not a literary mind.)
enlightening yet humbling read.......1999-08-15
I found this book to be one of the more unusual things I've ever read. It had multiple personalities; Entertaining, Enlightening, Humbling, Compelling, Strange, Compelling, and I'm sure I'm missing a few. The vocabulary is unbelievable. Don't touch this book without a dictionary in-hand. However, the writing is captivating. It alone is worth the price of reading about writers and works you've never heard of, with attendant feelings of functional illiteracy. I put this book down often. But, I always picked it back up. It was a unique read.
Despite the author's best intentions, HARMLESS........1999-07-29
John Leonard is a left-winger. Fine, so am I. The trouble is, he thinks that this is a daring and remarkable thing to be. Every few pages he lets us in on his leftism and (more subtly, though subtlety has never been his thing) how incredibly proud of himself he is for being leftist. You get the sense that he wishes there were some real and imminent peril in praising Toni Morrison, but there isn't--and he KNOWS it--and therefore his tough-boy declarations are not only repetitive but repulsive. Does he care about the left's constituency, or does he just want to be seen caring in order to get chummy reviews from the Village Voice? Also, has anyone noticed that his prose is more often than not borderline incoherent?
Brilliant.......1999-06-29
John Leonard has been making me get up early on Sunday mornings so that I may watch his reviews of T.V. and media on CBS's "Sunday Morning". From those early morning encounters, I was prepared for the pacing and precision of his sentences. But now, after sampling this fine collection of essays, what a pleasure it is to savor his words on the page, like hard candy.

Book Description
This volume offers an analysis of crime coverage on local television, exploring the nature of local television news and the ongoing appeal of crime stories. Drawing on the perspectives of media studies, psychology, sociology, and criminology, authors Jeremy H. Lipschultz and Michael L. Hilt focus on live local television coverage of crime and examine its irresistibility to viewers and its impact on society's perceptions of itself. They place local television news in its theoretical and historical contexts, and consider it through the lens of legal, ethical, racial, aging, and technological concerns.
In its comprehensive examination of how local television newsrooms around the country address coverage of crime, this compelling work discusses such controversial issues as the use of crime coverage to build ratings, and considers new models for reform of local TV newscasts. The volume includes national survey data from news managers and content analyses from late night newscasts in a range of markets, and integrates the theory and practice of local television news into the discussion. Lipschultz and Hilt also project the future of local television news and predict the impact of social and technological changes on news.
As a provocative look at the factors and forces shaping local news and crime coverage, Crime and Local Television News makes an important contribution to the discussions taking place in broadcast journalism, mass communication, media and society, and theory and research courses. It will also interest all who consider the impact of local news content and coverage.

Customer Reviews:
Good, could have been better.......2002-10-11
This is a pretty good introduction to QuickBooks for somebody already familiar with business accounting. It tells you how to do all of the typical things you'd want to do for a small business, often giving alternate approaches that are either faster or more useful that the obvious ones.
It has an introduction to accounting mechanics in Appendix B, but that just explains a few basic facts about double-entry accounting systems, and tells you to memorize a table of credit vs. debit effects (e.g. debits increase asset accounts and decrease liability accounts). The book fails to explain why debits sometimes make things go up and sometimes down, something that would've been much more helpful than simple memorization.
I would've liked to see a chapter explaining what sorts of accounts a typical company of a specific type would set up, and how they would be used. I like to know *why* I'm doing something as well as *how* I should do it.
Perhaps such things are better handled in a general book on business accounting, but a short chapter would've been enough.
The tone of the book is generally light-hearted. Occasionally it gets a little thick, e.g. on page 61: "Now this will be a big surprise. (I'm just kidding.) QuickBooks provides descriptions [...] When you choose the command, QuickBooks displays the lost city of Atlantis. Okay, not really. QuickBooks actually displays [...]". It's not usually that silly, but the author's sense of humor does pervade the book.

Book Description
Drawn from letters, diaries, newspaper articles, public declarations, contemporary narratives, and private memoranda, The American Revolution brings together over 120 pieces by more than 70 participants to create a unique literary panorama of the War of Independence. From Paul Revere's own narrative of his ride in April 1775 to an account of George Washington's resignation from command of the Army in December 1783, the volume presents firsthand all the major events of the conflict-the early battles of Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill; the failed American invasion of Canada; the battle of Saratoga; the fighting in the South and along the western frontier; and the decisive triumph at Yorktown.
Famous figures-Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, Benedict Arnold, John and Abigail Adams-are here alongside lesser known participants like Samuel Blachley Webb describing courage and panic at Bunker Hill or Sarah Hodgkins writing longingly to her absent soldier husband. American Loyalists and British officers and officials serving in America provide provocative insights into the losing side of an epochal conflict.
The American Revolution includes a chronology of events, biographical and explanatory notes, and an index.
Customer Reviews:
An amazing book.......2005-09-09
This book is like having our founding fathers in the room and talking to you. It's history as told by the participants, not filtered through another author's interpretations. If you care about our country and want to know what really happened, read this book. You'll come away understanding why we fought the war of independence, and you'll also see the roots of both the Bill of Rights and the Civil War as well. I've given away perhaps 10 copies of this book to judges, attorneys and politicians and they all rave about it. Open your mind and find out what really happened to make our country great.
Source Documents of our Revolution with great helps.......2005-04-26
No matter what you have learned about the American Revolution, this terrific volume from the wonderful Library of America will give you a richer understanding of how it happened and who was involved and when. It is full of documents that are contemporary with key events of the Revolution from various points of view. They are from diaries, newspapers, letters, speeches, key official documents, excerpts from books, and so on.
Of course, part of the problem of reading contemporary documents is that the non-specialist will need some helps to put them in context, understand who wrote them, who the key participants are, and so on. The editor has provided a very fine chronology of the War, Biographical Notes, Notes on the Texts, Explanatory Notes, an index, and a surprisingly helpful table of contents.
The documents are presented chronologically with the dates along the top of the page. You can read it front to back or jump into it here or there. While this volume will enrich your understanding of and appreciation for our Founding, it will also provide a jumping off point for further study. Since these are all source documents that historians use in their writings, having read them will allow you to read secondary writings on our founding with more authority and their biases and any agenda they have will stand out more clearly as your read their work.
A must have for your American History shelf.
A New Understanding of Our Past and Many Surprises.......2004-07-08
When I finished this book I had a new understanding of the Revolutionary War. The book contains writings from all perspectives about all aspects of our fight to be born as a nation. At the end I felt a real sense of suprise in my new understanding of what this struggle meant to the participants as it was occurring.
The Library of America makes an excellent book with first class binding and paper. They also get the highest marks for scholarship. The editors of this volume used all contemporary sources and documented them carefully. At the same time they produced an entertaining book on a subject that has been covered in thousands of volumes.
As I read the accounts from privates and generals and everyone in between I was suprised by the high level of literacy of all parties. They all expressed different points of view with a level of articulateness that is missing in most of the writing of today. I learned a new appreciation for the letter as a means of communication. An amusing suprise was the spelling of that era, which was not was not near as uniform as today.
Reading this book gives an insight into the experience of the revolutionary war that is unique. I have read many volumes on the political and military history of that era without gaining the understanding of the events I gathered from this book. If you are interested in the subject at all reading this volume is an investment of time well worth the effort.
Mosaic that tells the full story.......2003-06-07
Fantastic collection of sources (American, Tory, Whig, British, etc) that tells the chronological tale of the American Revolution. Troop movements, political undertones, the effects on the communities, the horrors and kindnesses of villains and heroes, and the full kaleidoscope of the human experience are generously provided here. The book moves from the ride of Paul Revere to the moving resignation of Washington's commission, a very dramatic narrative pieced together skillfully by a wide variety of independent accounts.
Get to know everyone who was there for the Revolution..........2002-10-27
This book not only has a lot of important names in it (I won't repeat them here), it also has letters from people of lower ranks, or townsfolk. You not only get to know what the generals and officers were thinking, but you also get to know what the people in the soon-to-be United States were doing and thinking. There is an incredible diary from a 14 year old girl included in the collection. She recounts the officers who were quartering in her home and what she thought of them and what she thought in general. Her original orthography is preserved as much as possible. Also included are various diaries of people who lived in the areas where battles or troop movements were taking place. Much insight into what life must have been like during the Revolution can be gleaned from these. There are also glimpses of the violence of warfare in those days through the letters and diaries of the people who were surrounded by it.
This collection is made doubly valuable by its comprehensiveness. You'll read the big names, but also quite a bit of the lesser known ones. Each author also has a biography which can be referenced in an appendix of notes, so you know what happened to them. An amazing collection of the famous and the not so famous of the American Revolution.

up to 4 stars for the charts.......2004-09-14
This review book contains interesting tidbits that others don't have. It also features good overviews that hit the essentials and a large number of terrific comparative charts. This book makes connections among different civilizations, time periods, topics, and themes. In fact, it's possibly the best book for making connections and drawing conclusions.
For lots of details or facts, you'll need something else, too.
Better than Barron's, Not as good as Princeton Review.......2004-02-24
The title of this review sums it up. Petersen's APWH study guide is just "OK" for AP World History. It's a good source for ideas for multiple choice questions. I've used Petersen's, Barron's and Princeton Review with my students--hands down winner is PR's "Cracking the APWH Exam", In My Humble Opinion.

Customer Reviews:
Not very helpful........2005-08-12
Last spring I took 6 AP exams, for the most part I used Princeton Review exclusively. I used REA for American History (which is very good by the way), and purchased this book off of Amazon. I am sorry to say that I found this book all but useless. The chart layout would likely only help someone enabled with a photographic memory. Perhaps if you already know the subject very well, it could work as a review. However, if you are like me, and never took the class (and lacks a photographic memory), you will discover this book is not helpful, a waste of time and money. This was to such an extent that I went out to the store and bought the Princeton Review book for full price the week before rather than deal with the mediocre Petterson's. Another note on that, the Princeton Review World History is likely the worst Princeton Review AP prep book I have used, thus I wouldn't really recommend that. Try Jackson J. Spielvogel's world history text or Peter N. Stearns "Advance Placement Edition." Both are very informative as well as good reads. Furthermore, Stearns has great internet resources that are almost as proficient as the text itself. Good luck.
A test prep that is great for what it does not contain!!!.......2002-07-25
AP Success World History contains a great deal of pertinent information regarding the three topics that the College Board emphasizes. Instead of helping me learn hundreds of useless facts, the book aided me by clearly explaining the main topics included on the AP exam, topics including, but not limited to, "how cultures change over time" and "how cultures interact with one another." Once again, as most of the AP World History Exam deals with general trends and not specific facts, AP Success: World History is the right choice for preparation; and since it is not a very long book, last minute studying is more plausible with this book than perhaps any other. I should also point out here that taking the practice tests and STUDYING the SOLUTIONS for the tests is critical to success. By quickly reviewing the book and taking and STUDYING the practice test questions and SOLUTIONS, confidently earned a 4 on the actual AP EXAM with only 2 night's worth of study (90 mintutes of study on night 1 and 3 hours of study on night 2).
If you seriously want to do well on this examination and you have had little, poor quality, or no preparation for AP World History, then buying this book and using it will give you a very good chance of getting a 4. If you want a 5 you might need a little more preparation. Getting a 3 should be no problem.
First Study Guide for AP World History!.......2001-12-27
The first AP World History exam will be given in 2002, and this Peterson volume is the first study guide to become available. Whatever its flaws, it will be welcomed by many teachers and students who are pioneering this new AP course in its first year. What follows is a first impression by an AP World History teacher who occasionally moonlights as a College Board Consultant for AP World History.
Like other Peterson guides, this one begins with a diagnostic test, and the remainder of the book follows the typical pattern for AP study guides: a first half on test taking strategies (Chapters 1-5), and a second half on content review (Chapters 6-10). As a teacher, what I liked most about the study guide were the practice tests and the tables that organized and summarized content. What I liked least were the chapters on test-taking strategies, which seemed to lack the sophistication needed for students to excel on the written portions of the test. However, to be fair, 'your mileage may vary' depending on your grade level and level of AP experience. If you are a high school sophomore - as many students taking this course are - and you have very little or no experience taking AP exams, the study guide is very accessible and covers the basics in a simple, straightforward way. On the other hand, if you are a senior with lots of AP experience and are hoping to score a 5, I suspect you're going to be disappointed - but you should still find the practice tests moderately useful.
The study guide provides students with a course outline straight from what teachers recognize as 'the Acorn book,' and it obviously relies heavily on this source as a guide to the information it covers. Practice essays and DBQ topics are taken directly, if not stolen outright, from the Acorn book, and they are accompanied by rubrics that consist of elaborate (brainstorming) lists and tables. Oddly, the study guide does not provide students with a detailed explanation of the rubric that AP readers use in evaluating essays, i.e., what is specifically required for an outstanding essay. Nor do the DBQ chapter or rubrics adequately address issues of context, frame of reference, and perspective, i.e., 'Habits of Mind.'
Teachers and students should be advised that they may find a few of the multiple choice test questions and answers problematic (but what else is new?). The authors have also not quite mastered the technique of providing options within their essay questions, and they appear to prefer to use a minimum number of moderately long documents rather than a maximum number of short documents for their DBQs. Overall though, I consider the practice tests to be the most valuable part of the study guide. The multiple choice practice exams are not nearly as obsessive about factual details as most of the textbook-based exams that many teachers are using in their classes. Of course, we can only hope that the authors guessed right about the level of difficulty of the AP exam. (I suspect the practice tests are a bit too easy.) We won't really know until May.
(By the way, the study guide is 350 pages, not 500.)
