This book examines the monetary integration of the group of countries which constitute the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), signaling the emergence of a truly European Economy. Although this book seems more designed to educate the novice at growing Christmas trees, I believe everyone, even people currently in this business, can learn something valuable from it. It is well written and enjoyable to read, plus informative in that it describes all sorts of trees used, planting methods, protection and care of seedlings and transplants, recommendations for planting locations, and a whole host of other information. I attribute this book to getting me interested in this field as a hobby. Recommend it very highly!

This was a good book for the novice with no experience in the tree industry. It was a quick read and enjoyable. But not for someone in who works in the field already.

This is a hobby for me, and Hill's book has all the answers. He has been a professional grower for many years. He covers all the details: planting, weeding, pruning and selling.

The phony "5 Star" reviews all reference the "usefulness to academics" angle of this book, suspiciously the same lingo used by the book's publicist. The one "0 Star" review is by a real Internet marketer. I too am a real Internet marketer and I can tell you I am *not* interested in theory, I am interested in results. I agree with the previous reviewer that Declan Dunn or Shawn Collins would indeed be far more useful. I also enjoyed the comment by the "student" who says he does not usually buy expensive books. Gee, when I was a student, that's all I did was buy expensive books - where do you go to school? Save your money on this one, folks.

I have been an active affiliate with my personal web sites and advisor for many advertisers via my professional work. This industry has matured dramatically over the last 4-5 year, and "Strategic Affiliate Marketing" analyzes the essentials and the core values of affiliate marketing that remains even when the market changes. This is a very helpful "tool", both for the academic and practitioner, when evaluating the opportunities within affiliate marketing and other online partnerships.

I was cautious about the cover price on this book, but I figured it was the most recent, and theremore, most up to date and useful book on affiliate marketing.

I was terribly disappointed in reading it, though. There was plenty of theory, but I want real, hands on experience from people that got their hands dirty in the industry.

I'd suggest the books by Declan Dunn or Shawn Collins over this.

Excellent theoretical overview of why affiliate mktg matters.......2003-11-11

I am currently writing my thesis on pay-for-performance marketing, and this book was a godsend. It is the first very comprehensive overview of affiliate marketing examined in the context of online marketing as a whole. It has strategic advice for marketers and affiliates as well, but the real strength of the book is in the piece-by-piece analysis of every aspect of affiliate marketing, from the affiliate's, the merchant's and the service provider's point of view. It's helpful if you're researching online marketing, and it's helpful if you're in the business as a merchant or affiliate and would like to learn more about what makes affiliate marketing work.

Don't let the price scare you, this book offers real value for every single dollar you spend on it. I am a student, so i rarely buy expensive books, but this one was worth it. :)
