Book Description
Knowledge in Organizations addresses the increasing need in organizations to make knowledge and experience of individuals and groups explicit, by providing a comprehensive set of methods for capturing personal and organizational knowledge. Although it is apparent that for most of their actions people in organizations rely on experience and other forms of implicit knowledge, little attention has been given to ways of eliciting and capturing such knowledge. In a time and context where the business rationale is more and more based on knowledge rather than tangible assets, this becomes essential. By distinguishing between two major forms of thought, five kinds of mental material, and three types of thinking, Knowledge in Organizations provides a clear framework through which knowledge access, transfer, and creation in organizations can be understood, and the reflection on and sharing of knowledge can be enhanced. Knowledge in Organizations will be of value to academics, advanced-level students, and practitioners in management, organizational development and behavior, and occupational psychology.

Book Description
Environmental Behaviour of Agrochemicals deals with a major area of concern regarding the use of agrochemicals - the potential for contamination of soil, air and water. This ninth volume in the Progress in Pesticide Biochemistry and Toxicology series, provides an international outlook on the impact of the production and use of agrochemicals on the environment, In Environmental Behaviour of Agrochemicals emphasis is placed on the methods for assessing the movement of pesticides into ground water from a variety of perspectives, and run-off of agrochemicals from soil into surface water. In addition to detailed accounts of recommended analytical methodologies for environmental samples, an in-depth overview is given of recent developments in the use of computer simulation models for assessing environmental fate. Coverage also includes the current status of biosensors for in vitro measurements for environmental analysis, volatization of agrochemicals and estimation of physico-chemical properties. Environmental Behaviour of Agrochemicals brings together contributions from internationally renowned experts to discuss a developing topic which is of vital importance to both producers and users of agrochemicals.

Book Description
This guide deals with Internal Revenue Code section 183, Farm Hobby Losses. It's the same manual used by IRS agents when they investigate horse operations. It helps horse-farm owners know what they need to do to comply with IRS tax rules concerning their type of business.
Customer Reviews:
Very Helpful.......2007-03-19
This book became a very helpful resource to not only me but my accountant. He did not
understand the horse business and this helped answer some of his questions about my
business. It saved both of us time and money.

Very handy. Buy your accountant a copy!.......2006-03-16
This has been helpful for my husband and me in planning our business, and we purchased a copy for our accountant, since very few really understand the nuances of the horse business.
Official Guide for tax cheats.......2005-12-30
This book is a love it or hate it guide to auditing horse activities. That's why I had to go middle of the road on the review. I believe it is mistakently marketed to legitimate horse stables, breeding farms, training barns and businesses who want to assure themselves that they won't fail an audit. However, if you ARE indeed a legitimate business, this guide probably won't tell you anything you don't already know. This guide's merit is mostly for backyard or recreational horse owners who are attempting to pass their hobbies off as a "business," or those who list their personal horses as a business expense to attempt some extra tax savings. That being said, you know what category you fall into. If your primary business is horses, whether it be breeding, teaching, training, transporting, etc., don't waste your time or money on this one. If however, you are a retiree who would like to try to pass off your 3 backyard nags that you occasionally breed as a "business" read away. And let me know what jail is like in a couple of years =-)
UGH! HARDLY WORTH THE TIME.......2005-09-23
Hardly worth the time and not at all worth the money.

Customer Reviews:
Nothing Left Unsaid!.......2006-09-07
Whether you're new to Google advertising, just trying to refine your own techniques, or you've been plugged into this world of advertising for quite some time...this book is extremely beneficial in any phase of your Google advertising. Every aspect of Google Advertising you could possibly imagine, like maximizing the use of foreign languages, is thoroughly discussed in this book. The "150 Killer AdWords Tips & Tricks" have proven to be one of the most advantageous features!
Google Advertising A-Z with Lots of Tips.......2006-08-31
This is the most up to date Google advertising book on the market and it is presented in an easy to read format. There are tons of hints along the way-nearly a couple a page-on how to optimize your campaign. Advertising on Google can seem like smoke and mirrors at times, but "Guerrilla Tactics" cuts through all that. It also provides links to Websites outside Googledom to conduct keyword popularity searches, etc. Google has made so many AdWords changes in the past year why buy a book written before site targeting, section targeting, etc?
Read and Re-read This Absolute AdWords Book!.......2006-06-07
There is great attention to detail in this book. It has about 20 pages just on keyword positioning within your ad, punctuation and capitalization. Learn how to cram the most keywords in your ad without overkill. There's another 20 pages on the top keywords for almost every holiday (even Boxing Day). The Image Ad section rocks, with focus on what colors work on the Web. Little tips are shown like how to search trademarks for free online and even reminders like spellcheck usage before putting text in a new ad. Key hyperlinks are provided throughout. This book sweats the small stuff and that's what you need to leapfrog the competition. The formating is perfect in this book and highly recommended.
Awful.......2006-06-03
This book contains only minimal useful information. It's printed using huge letters, the layout of the book is often broken and the often useless screenshots take a lot of space.
It does NOT contain 150 killer tips. They are just not there. It's more like AdWords manual. Read the AdWords help for free online and get another book.
Not worth the money.

Customer Reviews:
Surprisingly worthwhile.......2007-04-25
I've had months where I've made 5 figures online selling info products, so I didn't really expect to learn much when Justin sent me a copy of this. I was really pleasantly surprised with is. The quality of the info is outstanding, it kept me up reading all night. I highly recommend this book for anyone no matter what stage you're at in the game.

Justin delivered the goods.......2007-04-18
I am amazed by the sheer volume of information Justin provided in this book.
When I first opened it and saw that it was so long I thought there would
be fluff and filler. To my surprise it was concise, well written, and to
the point. There was no information that wasn't important to making money
online.
Justin separated the book into sections that actually made sense! In each
section he explained the concepts thoroughly and in a way that even a
beginner could understand.
I wish that I had a resource like this when I started online. It would
have shortened my learning curve by many months.
Even now, I keep it handy so that I can refer back to certain sections as
I am faced with a dilemma or problem. You had some resources in here that
even I hadn't heard about!
I think my favorite part though is the section on driving traffic to a
website. It is easy to read and understand and has more tips and tricks
than I've come across in many other more expensive books.
I implemented just two of the online traffic generation techniques he
talked about and I doubled my traffic in just a couple of weeks.
Thanks so much for putting such a significant amount of time and effort
into a resource that will be valuable for a long time.

Great book packed with solid information on Internet marketing.......2007-04-10
Justin Michie's Street Smart Internet Marketing is by far one of the most comprehensive and straight to the point books on the subject of internet marketing I've ever read. Really great stuff...
I've followed his suggestions on email marketing on several campaigns I've sent out to my lists and I've seen an increase in my average sales conversion of over 80%.
A good 101 for Internet Marketing Newbie's. Nothing for Veterans........2007-02-09
The book is about 300 pages and talks about a lot of different subjects of Internet marketing. From website and content development, email marketing, paid search to affiliate marketing.
This is a lot of ground to cover and a lot of books that are as long as this one and only cover one of the subjects are often considered "too general".
This is not necessarily a bad thing, if you see the book at what it is. A brief introduction to the aspect of Internet marketing. An Internet marketing 101 so to speak.
Good for newbies, but nothing for marketers with average or good Internet marketing experience.
Once you got the general picture, go ahead and invest into books that are specific to the subjects you are most interested in.
The only book on Internet Marketing you'll need .......2007-01-31
"Street Smart Internet Marketing" includes everything you need to know to effectively use the Internet to market your company or your products. Most books on the topic either talk down to the reader or use the insider jargon as a password to the elite club of Internet Marketers. "Street Smart" hits just the right note. Everything from the basics to advanced techniques can be found between its covers. Do you want to know about search engine optimization, shopping cart software, or email autoresponders? You'll find the answers here. Should your business have a website or newsletter? Should you split test? Do you need an ebook? The answers are in "Street Smart." Well organized and well thought out. "Street Smart Internet Marketing" is the only book you'll need.
