From the supplier: The model used by the US Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute in the prediction of food prices and consumer expenditure is examined. The model incorporated the different layers in the marketing chain from farm producers to distributors to retailers. When there are food price changes, the changes at the production level appears to be greater than that for retailers but this does not necessarily mean expanding or contracting margins as the food products is shifted along the distribution line.

I found the book less interesting than I found the HILARITY in the first 4 reviews written here. Obviously from the same person (the author, perhaps?...) or members of the authors family! too funny, and yet, sad, at the same time. Save your money - this book is nothing special.

This man did his homework. What a wealth of information! I find myself carrying it around with me for on the spot discussions with other entrepreneurs. It is well organized, and the list of resources is priceless.

I consider myself a reader with a voracious appetite when it comes to self help and motivation books. This book, I am happy to say, is not one of these. The Kitchen Table Millionaire (KTM) is a guerilla warfare manual, containing all of the pertinent information you could want in order to start your own business. KTM contains addresses, phone numbers, lists, and other specific information pertaining to mail order, auction and clearing houses, investment brokerages, government programs, etc.. A MUST for any entrepeneur.

This book brings us back to simple but very basic ideas. If you handle things once at the right time, it saves you time money and energy. I like the fact that it's written simply- it's an easy read but very effective. I even gave one to two of my daughters who are 18 and 20. It's never too early to start out right.
