As a paralegal student just entering the legal field, I found this book to be invaluable. Being relatively new to the legal field I had little idea what to expect at a law office or how to deal with any unforeseen problems I might encounter. This book answered my questions as well as gave me new insight. A must-have for anyone working in the legal field!

Knowing What You're Worth.......2001-04-02

Even with several years of paralegal experience under my belt, I found Bogen's book both insightful and inspiring. If all you want out of life is a mediocre job and you have no aspirations of being the best, you probably won't enjoy it. Bogen's book inspires you to stand out in the crowd rather than just blending in unnoticed. Reader beware! With knowledge comes accountability. Once you realize you have greater potential, you won't want to turn back. Many of Bogen's ideas were practical and relatively easy to implement, others required more thought and energy. Whoever you are, you can always be better. Bogen's book helps take you further along the road of success.

Good Book for New and Experienced Paralegals.......1999-10-01

Bogen's book is the type of book I searched for when I got started in the legal field 10+ years ago. I have worked for the County District Attorney and civil law firms (small, medium and large) so my focus is litigation. However, Bogen's book focuses on the paralegal and not the practice area so it is relevant for everyone. I found reinforcement for ideas I had already developed, plus I picked up some new tips or outlooks on areas that are common in the legal field. This is a book that will help both new and experienced paralegals.

I just got this book and love Maya Angelou's introduction of Julianne Malveaux. I'm enjoying these essays, as well. I'm more familiar with Julianne Malveaux as a televison commentator than as a writer, but she seems an equally talented writer as talker! I highly reccomend this book

A must read from one of our best "talking heads"........1999-03-21

Julianne Malveaux is one of my favorite talking heads. On CNN, PBS, and MSNBC, she has a feisty "take no prisoners" style of debate. She is unapologetically left and feminist, but she is also quirky, funny, and thought-provoking. This collection of columns is great! She covers lots of economic issues, deals with women and family issues, and also moral issues. My problem with this book is that the essays are too short, and so is the book. I am waiting to read 200 pages in this wonderful woman's voice. Some of my favorite columns: the column where she compares Long Term Capital Management with gamblers; the USA Today column in which she talks about buying her home; a rejoinder to the organizers of the Million Women's March (she is no fan of either the Million Man or Million Woman March, and she explains why); a tribute to Betty Shabazz. This isn't a book you'll read cover to cover. You'll pick it up and put it down, and pick it up again. It is so full of facts, opinions, statistics, and provocation that I expect to be using it as a resource for quite some time.

This book is a non-biased, helpful book explaining the binary plan of network marketing. I am brand new in the business of network marketing and am not familiar with the different plans that are out there. This book helped me to review each plan and see that the binary plan is the best one for me. Thanks Amazon for having this book in supply.

I just joined my first MLM Company. Having heard about binary plans I was confused. This book take the confusion out and gives a thorough explanation on how binary plans work.

Before reading Binary Plans, I was considering another company with an unlimited front line sponsorship. Now I would never go with anything but binary. It's the only way and this book explains why.

Obviously the author has a lot of experience in MLM and is an excellent writer too.

This book has very little useful information.

It does not do a good job of explaining how to design a binary system or in comparing the binary system to other MLM compensation systems.

The author states that he is very knowledgeable about the industry, however the content is not well thought ought and the writing is poor which destroys the credibility of the little information that is in this book.
