          This is a "no brianer" apporch to starting a speed dating service. There is no substance what so ever in this book. It lacks all the industry standards you would expect on how to develop, run and promote a dating service. They have a section on finding venues that will tell you to find a local restraunt or bar and to make sure you can meet the owner, have enough seats and that it wont be to loud. With that info I would never find a venue. This book only taps the surface on how to set up and run this type of service. My point is you will buy this publication and by the time your done reading it, you will say "So how do I start and run a speed dating service?"

          I am in the process of starting up a dating events business similar to speed dating so this book was a good tool. It contained some good hints but I found that there really wasn't a lot of content (for instance - 2 pages for Marketing which I think is one of the most important pieces). It was a good starting point though and it confirmed for me that all the aspects I was looking at were indeed what was needed. I especially liked the Trade Secrets Chapter ... that was helpful.

                      As a social worker and PWA --I have seen the effects of not planning or even worse not utlizing a benefit wisely.I have benefited not only from the financial planning advice that Ms. Wolk has offered --as well as the peace of mind that maximizing the use of assess such as life insurance to bring joy (a few trips, nice dinners) to the life which is deserved when facing the uncertainties of terminal diseases. the old science writers axiom:There are two headlines in medical reporting, "Drug X found to have highly effective in treating blank disease"and "Drug X found to cause...severe side effects and ....other horrible things.The war is not over why die poorer than you need to.

                                Ordered this book from Littletext.com as a new hard cover and recieved a softcover international addition. I wouldn't mind using international version since there is hardly any difference, but don't bait and switch on me I don't like it. I'd buy from someone else if the price was within a couple bucks. Got my book not from Chicago as advertised, but Thailand. However it was delivered in no time.

                                I had this book for one of my classes at my University this semester, and although the content of the book is concise and updated, nonetheless the authors rely too much on self-reference. The book is written too much from a "USA is superior" perspective. I also found some errors such as translations from other languages that were completely off. If you have to get this book for Intl. Business it is overall a good book, but if you can get a better one, do so.

                                  Please, if you have a choice of textbooks, do NOT buy this one. I have a feeling the author knows nothing of eCommerce, yet was given 80 references, told to mash them together as non-sensically as possible and fire the result off to the publisher.
                                  I've worked in eCommerce for a number of years and this book is a total waste of time and money. Many "industry terms" used do not exist. The author contradicts himself on a number of occasions. Many of the charts and illustrations are good for a laugh. I truly feel sorry for people who have this book as their introduction to eCommerce. You're going to come away with a lot of mangled/antiquated theories, and a bunch of "facts" that are just plain wrong. I'm sorry to say I had to memorize all of this junk in order to get an A in my course. As soon as I handed that exam in, I made a concerted effort to forget everything I read in this text.

                                  How on earth is it possible to make even the simplest of theories so complicated? The book is absolutely stuffed with useless words and figures. If the authors did not get paid per word, I am sure they could have written a splendid book with one third of the pages. The price is exorbitant, and what you get for more than a hundred dollars is close to nothing. Do NOT buy this book!

                                  I am a full time student in a computing program which believe me, requires reading some boring books, but this one takes the cake. The way it was written simply does not flow. It was the only textbook I have read so far that literally put me to sleep. The content is very repetetive, and features graphs that are truley unintelligable. Skip this book unless you absolutely must purchase it for school.
